Effective immediately, City Hall will be closing to the public due to a positive COVID case among City Staff.

City Hall will be professionally cleaned and sanitized before reopening to the public. 
If you need to transact business with the City of Highland please visit the citizen portal https://www.highlandil.gov/citizen_request_center_app/index.php.  Choose the topic of your question, and provide your contact information.  A city staff member will get back with you as soon as possible.  

You can also call 618-654-9891 to make an appointment with City Hall staff.  The police department is available 24 hours a dSaveay and can be reached at 618-654-2131.

Payments will still be accepted in the night deposit located in the rear of City Hall.

We will notify the public here and on social media when City Hall reopens.
