CITY OF HIGHLAND, ILLINOIS
PETITION FILING PERIOD DATES and TIMES
NOTICE is hereby given that the office of the City Clerk of the City of Highland, located within City Hall, will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning Monday, October 19, 2026 through Monday, October 26, 2026 (extended time – see note below) for the purpose of accepting candidate petitions for the Consolidated Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2027, for the following offices, each for a four-year term, to be voted upon:
Councilman (2 seats -- Each for a four-year term)
Note: City Hall is located at 1115 Broadway and is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with the following exception during the petition filing period:
Note: City Hall will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2026 for the express purpose of accepting candidate petitions.
