The Highland Police Department announces the arrest of Aaron B. Becker (Male, 38 yoa) of Trenton after a warrant was issued by the Madison County Circuit Court on December 4, 2025—the warrant orders Becker’s custody for multiple felony offenses involving the alleged solicitation of a minor. Becker was taken into custody without incident.
According to charging documents filed by the Madison County State’s Attorney, Becker is accused of the following offenses:
- Indecent Solicitation of a Child (Class 3 Felony)
- Traveling to Meet a Minor (Class 3 Felony)
- Solicitation to Meet a Child (Class 4 Felony)
- Grooming (Class 4 Felony)
The allegations stem from incidents occurring on or about November 9, 2025, in Madison County, Illinois, and subsequent investigation. Upon arrest, Becker was transported to the Madison County Jail, where he will remain pending his initial court appearance as ordered in the warrant.
The Highland Police Department will continue to work closely with county officials to support the ongoing judicial process. We remind the public that a criminal charge is merely an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
