Flushing Notice
We remind you not to flush anything other than toilet paper. As a result of the toilet paper shortage, people could be resorting to using other products. We are concerned about the increased flushing of non-flushable items such as paper towels, napkins, and baby wipes (even those labeled “Flushable” should not be flushed).
This is not a new problem for wastewater facilities and we ask that our community be mindful of what they are using and flushing at all times, not just during this situation; to aid in the operation of your plumbing, septic system, as well as the municipal sewer system.
PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH:
Paper Towels
Baby Wipes – even those labeled as “Flushable” wipes
Wet Wipes/Cleaning Wipes
Napkins
Tissues
Feminine Hygiene Products
Obstructed Influent Pump
