- All Highland City Services is preparing for the storm, which is believed to begin in the early morning hours of Sunday, January 5, 2025, and continue for 24 hours into the early morning hours of Monday, January 6, 2025.
- The Street and Alley Department will begin preparing roadways on Saturday, January 4, 2025. Please ensure the snow route is cleared.
- The Police Departments, EMS Division, and Fire Department will have additional personnel staffed to ensure emergency response.
- The Electric Department is preparing to respond in the event of a power outage.
- The Weinheimer Community Center will be opened as a warming center on request will remain open until no longer needed.
- Silver Lake Park will be closed once the Parks and Recreation Department deems it necessary.
- The Korte Recreation Center's schedule will be fluid, and a notification will be sent once the hours of operation are set.
