Construction has begun at Silver Lake Park to make improvements on the Spillway and Dam for the Old City Reservoir. The lake water level will be dropped approximately 5 to 6 feet in order to complete the removal of the old concrete and construction of the new spillway. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2023 For everyone’s safety, barricades have been installed to block the pedestrian traffic on the dam from the boat ramp restroom to the Water Treatment Plant.
Our Fall Trout season scheduled for mid-October is cancelled for this year, but will return in fall of 2024.
