On February 25, 2023, members of the Highland Police Department, along with family and friends, participated in the Special Olympics Polar Plunge at Carlyle Lake. The team raised $2500 for Special Olympics and received the “Best Team Costume” award. Today, Sgt. Aric Steinbeck and Detective Chris Clewis met with Katy Gruen, Region J Special Olympics Office manager, to accept their award.
