Today, the Highland Police Department, along with officers from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, Collinsville Police Department, Pocahontas Police Department, Shiloh Police Department, Columbia Police Department, Glen Carbon Police Department, and the Troy Police Department, conducted a K9 Safety Sweep of the Highland High School.
The detail, which was conducted in conjunction with the school district and the agencies listed above, ended with a city ordinance citation being made for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. All students complied without any further.
