Due to the expected snowfall forecasted for overnight, City of Highland Offices will be closed on Thursday February 3, 2022 so that our crews can focus on the snow routes and emergency response needs of our citizens. The Korte Rec Center located at 1 Nagel Drive, Highland, IL will be opening at 7am as a warming center as needed.
UPDATE ON SANDERS WASTER MANAGEMENT SCHEDULE: Sanders Waste Management has advised that they will finish picking up the Wednesday route and all of Thursday's route on Friday Feb. 4th and they will pick up Fridays route on Saturday Feb. 5th.

With dropping temperatures and additional precipitation, roads will become more hazardous and we strongly recommend only necessary and essential travel until the storm has cleared. To assist our crews in clearing snow routes and to more quickly and safely clear our streets, when possible, please do not park along the streets to allow the plows and equipment easy passage. A map of the snow routes is attached.
