Leaves that are blown onto the streets end up obstructing storm water drains, causing water to back up rather than run off as designed. Heavy amounts of debris also clog and impair the streetsweeper.
Be a good neighbor and keep the leaves in your yard until they can be collected and properly contained.
Highland's trash service collects unlimited yard waste. Place yard waste in Kraft paper yard waste bags or 33 gallon trash containers marked with a RED X. Limit each to 50lbs.
