The City of Highland is pleased to announce that Carole Presson will be sworn in as the City of Highland’s Chief of Police on November 1st.
Presson is a retired Lieutenant of Investigations from the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, current instructor for both the Illinois Law Enforcement Training & Standards Board and Southwestern Illinois College, holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and is a current Doctoral Candidate in Criminal Justice.
Presson’s professional accomplishments are impressive and she will be an asset to our community as both a leader and public servant. Her swearing in will take place at the November 1st City Council meeting at City Hall, 1115 Broadway, at 7:00pm.
