Collection of Storm Debris

March 29, 2021

Due to high winds on Saturday, March 27, the Street and Alley Division will be collecting storm related debris. Storm damaged limbs are defined as large limb debris and/or trees not capable of being assembled for regular landscape refuse. We strongly encourage utilizing the city’s regular trash pickup that includes unlimited landscape waste. Any debris that can be bagged, bundled, or placed in a can with an “X” for pickup by the trash haulers should be handled in that way.

Street division personnel will collect storm damage that is moved to the curbside or to the alley. Department personnel will not remove debris from private property.

In order to have your debris removed, please call the Public Works Department at 654-6823 and have a work order entered for the pickup. Crews will not patrol the streets and alleys for debris piles.

Pickup will continue through close of business on Monday, April 5.
