Our Ambulance district has seen a significant increase in COVID-19 infections with over 100 cases in the last 14 days. That’s 20% of our total cases in the last two weeks. This creates an increasingly dangerous work environment for our doctors, nurses and first responders and makes daily tasks more risky for our vulnerable citizens.
The weather has been nice and we all want to enjoy our fall activities, but we can’t get complacent. In our community we have unfortunately seen serious hospitalizations and even deaths from the virus.
Wearing a mask is still our most effective weapon against the virus and the best way to protect each other.
To fight the virus we must fight complacency. So when you are in public, avoid large groups and please remember to wear your mask so we can all Stay Safe and Stay Healthy!
