The City’s project to update and beautify Broadway is set to begin early next week. The Broadway Streetscape project includes new curbing, 8’-wide sidewalks, all new trees, signage, wayfinding (destination) signage, and new street lighting with pedestrian side lighting. The improvements will unify the look and feel of Broadway as our central core of the community. Phase 1 extends from the roundabout at Poplar Street to Laurel Street. The contractor is beginning work on the south side of Broadway at Lemon Street and working towards the west. We are applying for phase 2 funding.
