Description : SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for customer service, clerical personnel, and a facility supervisor for the Parks and Recreation Department. Duties include but are not limited to: membership processing, department payroll processing and oversight, accounts payable activities, daily accounts receivables, supply ordering, and day-to-day operations of recreation facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administration: Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and coordinating front desk personnel.
- Customer Service: Support members, guests, and participants by answering inquiries via phone, email, or in person. Provide excellent customer service by resolving complaints and offering department information in a friendly manner. Understand when to escalate to senior management or ask for assistance.
- Registration & Data Entry: Process memberships, programs, rentals, parties and special events for the department. Maintain accurate databases of member visits, forms, and payments.
- Financial Tracking: Assist in managing budgets, purchase orders, vendors, processing invoices, purchase orders, vendors, and preparing reports on revenues and expenses. Process monthly membership billing for the Korte Recreation Center. Serve as Treasurer for the Highland Youth Sports Council.
- Financial Reporting & Reconciliation: Perform daily cash handling procedures, including counting and verifying cash payments, checks, and credit card transactions. Ensure that all funds are accurately accounted for and deposited. Reconcile cash drawers and ensure that any discrepancies are reported and investigated. Maintain accurate records of cash flows for accounting purposes.
- Facility Supervision: Supervise staff and daily operations of recreation facilities, including opening and/or closing the facility. Report hazards and maintenance issues and submit work orders.
- Program Support: Assist with planning, organizing, and executing of recreation programs and special events. Work with marketing and promotion of facilities and programs to the community.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of facility users, program attendance, equipment, supplies, and staff schedules. Process department payroll bi-weekly. Assist in preparing monthly or quarterly reports for the department.
- Office Management: Manage general office duties including answering phones, filing, ordering supplies, and handling correspondence.
