My wife, of more than 50 years, Maureen, and I have three children who are all grown and married.
I retired from the United States Marine Corps after more than 20 years of service.
During the Vietnam War, I was part of an aircraft flight crew serving in Southeast Asia and operated as part of Operation Linebacker 2 which was credited as ending the Vietnam War.
I have served at several military bases from California to Maine as well as at many bases across the Pacific and in the Far East.
Later, after attending several colleges, I became interested in journalism. During my military career, I attended the University of North Carolina, the University of South Carolina, the University of Maryland, and Central Texas College.
I attended the Defense Information Journalism School.
I am a parishioner of St. Paul parish and a member of the
Highland Knights of Columbus (Council #1580) as well as a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (Post 5694) and the American Legion Post 439.
My goal is simple - to passionately serve our citizens with the desire to continue making Highland the best place to work, play and raise a family.
