The 2027 Election will be held to fill the offices of Councilman (2 seats) for the City of Highland. Qualified candidates may circulate petitions and file nomination papers for those offices according to the guidelines and the election schedule established by the Illinois State Board of Elections (see notices below for important dates).

Elections for the offices listed above will be held for the City of Highland on April 6, 2027.
City Council Meeting - May 3, 2027
Newly-elected municipal officials will be seated at the first City Council meeting in May, 2027.
