This course will have Online Learning with classroom sessions for review, skills, and test. All class meetings must be attended in order to receive certification. Accommodations will not be made for schedule conflicts and make up dates are not available. Course fees are non-refundable.

Prerequisites:
- Minimum Age 15 by the last day of the class
- Swim 25 yards of each stroke: front crawl, back crawl, elementary backstroke, and butterfly
- Tread water for 1 minute
Location: Classroom Sessions held at both Highland Community Pool and Korte Recreation Center.
2025 Classroom Dates: June 9th, 10th, & 11th
Classroom Times: 9am to 4pm
Fees: Residents $160 Local Non-residents $170 Distant Non-residents $215 * Candidates interested in working as an instructor for the City of Highland may qualify for reimbursement after meeting specific criteria
