Meet Officer Elijah Trujillo. Officer Trujillo is the first to be in the spotlight of the “Meet the Officer” series.
Officer Trujillo, DSN 146, is the newest member of our police department and comes to us by way of Texas. Officer Trujillo moved to our area to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice and raise a family. Before coming to the Highland Police Department, Officer Trujillo served as a football coach for the Highland Middle School and the Highland High School. On April 26, Officer Trujillo graduated from the Southwestern Illinois Police Academy in Belleville. He has started his field training and is ready to serve the citizens of Highland. Please welcome Officer Trujillo to the Highland Police Department.
