Highland Arts Council

The Highland Arts Council was established in 2003 to actively promote the arts in and around the community of Highland, Illinois through a variety of activities and projects.

The non-profit organization meets the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm at the Latzer Memorial Library.  They hold several annual events such as Art in the Park, Art of Soul,  a Youth Arts Expo, and assists with the Street Art Festival.

In Highland you will notice numerous pieces of art throughout the community including many in our local parks.  A self-guided tour of art is available with a brochure to highlight the history and the location.
